Course Overview

The “OSHA 48 Hours in General Industry” course is a comprehensive training program designed to provide participants with a deep understanding of occupational safety and health standards applicable to general industry settings. Covering a wide range of topics essential for promoting workplace safety, this course includes in-depth discussions on hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency response procedures, and regulatory compliance mandated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Assessment Method

Upon completion of each module in the “OSHA 48 Hours in General Industry” course, participants are required to pass a 10-question module quiz. To proceed, a minimum score of 70% is necessary. Participants have three attempts to pass each quiz. Failure to achieve the passing score within the allotted attempts will result in the participant being locked out of the course. Those unable to pass the quiz after three attempts are not permitted to continue with the online training format for their Outreach training.

Following the module quizzes, participants must pass a final exam to obtain full credit for the course. The final exam comprises 20 questions and assesses understanding of the course content.

Similar to the module quizzes, participants have three attempts to pass the final exam. Failure to do so within these attempts leads to disqualification from the online training format for their Outreach training.
